Welcome to the new look of Bespoken. We still offer the same tools, but now they are not part of the name.
Today, the Bespoken brand goes animal style. As in, we are excited to reveal a new logo and website featuring our favorite digital creature, the Bespoken Llama.
To celebrate, we are giving away two Amazon Echo Shows to two lucky users that sign-up before Sept 30. Sign-up for the Bespoken dashboard, integrate our SDK in 5-minutes, and complete a short survey – and you’ll automatically be entered into a drawing to win. (Contest is over)
Take a peek at the new site, and update your browser bookmarks to bespoken.io. Current users, log in to your Bespoken dashboard at apps.bespoken.io/dashboard.
You may be wondering what inspired the colorful new look and the cute llama with the fluffy tail. Well, let me share the short story of our rebrand.
When Bespoken proxy was launched in 2017, a simple logo and functional website helped us get the npm install code and documentation into the hands of hundreds of voice app developers. Now that our suite has expanded to include the emulator, encoder, logging dashboard, and most recently, monitoring, like every smart company, it was time to evolve the look of the brand as well.
For just over a year, I’ve been living as an American expat in Peru. Why? Well, for a few reasons. My wife and I wanted to live outside of the U.S. for an extended period of time, and my wife called Peru home in her formative years. Peru is a beautiful country, has a welcoming culture, and provides a special setting to raise my daughter.
As an entrepreneur, there are a lot of business opportunities, like great software engineering talent not yet overrun by offshoring companies. And Lima is being recognized worldwide as an emerging tech hub. We are ecstatic to have these resources in our global backyard and happy to say we’ve held a number of meetups locally – and have more planned in the future.
Back to the rebrand. When we were thinking up ideas for the new logo, the llamas that roam the Andes Mountains at 12,000 feet above sea level came to mind. At this vantage point, they are able to keep watch over the land and other animals – kind of like how Bespoken software monitors the activity of Alexa skills and Google actions. And it’s worth noting, as well, that llamas are beasts of burden – we hope that developers will see us as making lighter their efforts to build industrial-grade apps.
And there you have it. The new Bespoken brand is here. At the new domain, bespoken.io, you’ll find all of the links, code, and commentary you’re looking for to improve your skill and action development process. As we continue to develop and deploy other voice application tools, you’ll find all of the information here.
To our Bespoken dashboard users: throughout the next few weeks, you might notice a few new design elements appearing in the Bespoken Dashboard too – giving you the full Bespoken effect.
Thanks for evolving with us and for using Bespoken in your voice development process. I hope you enjoy the new look and will continue to grow and participate in the emerging technology of AI, voice, and bot development.
